Recent reports from Asia include encouraging news of God at work:
One man who heard the radio broadcast and became a Christian at the end of 2204 has started 22 groups of believers, each group having 7-8 families. He says he likes Jesus and wants everyone else to know how great he is!
A Hmong Christian who was imprisoned for 3 years led another Hmong prisoner (jailed on negligent homicide charges) to Christ. When the new convert was released, he went home and led 200 families to Christ.
36 songs have been recorded in Blue and Black Hmong. The Black Hmong radio broadcasts are still in development, but the songs will be a great addition to the programs.
Two Hmong couples living in Asia desire to move to a nearby country to share the gospel with other Hmong. A strong group of believers is needed to support them in this venture.
Pray:
-Father, we’re grateful for Your unceasing work to draw the lost to Yourself. Strengthen new believers, many of whom worship You under threat to their lives.
-Quickly provide funds for workers who can’t return to their area of ministry due to insufficient support. Arrange personal contacts that will develop into financial provision for them.
-Provide another radio broadcaster so the radio ministry leader can be free to focus on “big picture” needs. Personnel needs are so great in all the ministry areas--Lord, call workers to tell those who have never heard of Jesus.
-Many workers will be meeting together in the next couple of weeks. During their retreat bring rest to weary bodies, refresh tired spirits, restore personal passion for You, and renew ministry vision.
