Challenges for
the New Year
The Hmong
ministry begins 2006 facing significant
challenges. Would you perhaps take extra time
this week to intercede for the ministry?
Over the last
several months the Hmong team has faced many difficulties
which have hampered ministry: sickness, marriage problems,
issues with children, problems rising from working in
creative access areas. Most of the team is on home
assignment at present.
- Father, work
in these ministry families—giving wisdom for areas
needing change, developing harmony, giving daily health
and strength.
- Provide
funds for those who are home because there is
insufficient monthly support for them to be on the
field. Enable them to return quickly to
their work.
- Give
direction about possible team restructuring. Make
Your way clear to team leaders.

Open new
doors for ministry where old ones have been
closed.
- Open doors
for the two American Hmong couples interested in joining
the team. Help them to clearly know Your
direction. Burden still more potential
workers with the lostness of the Hmong and the ministry
roles they could fill.
Roadblocks
have stalled two areas of significant ministry:
leadership training and
reproduction of the
Jesus Film in Sinicized Hmong.
- Overrule
every earthly and every Satanic obstacle to the spread
of Your Word. Open doors which seem closed.
- This
ministry is Yours, Father. Let Your glory appear to the
millions of Hmong who have yet to hear the gospel once.
Let the brightness of Jesus rise on them.
