Let me share a story about a small congregation of Dong people that is north of here.

These people grow rice as their primary crop.  This is what they live on for the year and without the rice crop people would starve.  Recently, the rice crops just outside of this small village got some sort of infection so that people were losing up to 50% of their
crops.

Losing this much sets the stage for a famine if not remedied. While most villagers were losing crops, the Christians of this village weren't.  Their rice crops were growing rapidly and were healthy.  I have be told that the other villagers were asking them why and commenting that "your god is very powerful."

• Pray that these Christians can continue to trust God and that God will continue to show his hand in their lives.
• Pray that God's work would be obvious to the non-believers around them and that they would be bold to ask questions and that the Holy Spirit would speak through these believers to bring more people into the Kingdom of God.
