Some Dong brothers have settled into housing in the city for
this semester so they can work on the 40 stories project. Praise
the Lord that there is a good story-teller among them, who once
was in Dong operas!
- Pray
for them - they find that coming from the countryside to the
city is intimidating.
- Also,
ask that the process of recording these stories would draw
them closer to the Lord, and be a huge blessing to many Dong
folks in the future as they listen to the Bible stories on
tape.
Sign
language
A
deaf Dong sister is at the local school for the deaf. Pray
that she will continue to gain abilities and confidence, and has
a chance to witness to her faith in Christ in Chinese sign
language.
- Pray
for her uncle who is in the hospital with what appears to be
a stroke or some kind of brain hemmorage. He is not a
believer yet, but has heard the Gospel.
