The New Believers
Praise the Lord!   WF had a healthy baby BOY in her home on Easter morning, with her mom as midwife.  She and her husband XL have 3 daughters and the Bouyei are desperate to have a son for each family Today, at one week of age, Wang Fen’s boy was hospitalized for jaundice, diarrhea and possible pneumonia.  Please pray for his speedy recovery.

WF’s parents are both doing well. It turns out the wife is a spirit medium just as WF’s mother used to be.  Pray that the light of Christ would keep extending to other members of their family. 

XL, WF’s husband  seems to be  growing in his faith.  His overall demeanor has changed remarkably in recent months.  There is a sweet gentleness about him that is new.  He is faithfully going to XF’s fellowship (mentioned above) and has a particular interest in worship and music.  Pray that he would continue to grow and be raised up as a leader among the B.

LJ, the Bouyei evangelist and her husband, Mr. L are leading evening meetings with Mr. W’s sons and their wives.  They are beginning to have problems, however, and the fourth son has already dropped out.  The rest like to sing songs but do not show a hunger for the Word.  Please pray for LJ who is discouraged and ask the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work of conviction among them.
