Mr. W, a 63 year old Bouyei man whose left leg was amputated has been doing well spiritually. Joy and peace are evident on his face. Two of his four sons have believed as has the wife of a third son. Physically he looks well but he may not have much time.  The amputation did not remove the entire tumor and it appears to be an aggressive one.

• Please pray for wisdom for his treatment.  Please pray for Mr. W, his sons and their wives in their new faith.  They may be the core of a new adult fellowship that would like to begin as soon as they find a suitable place to meet.

Mr. L and his wife are two other Bouyei who recently believed in December.  They have had a terrible time since!  About three weeks after Mr. L broke his hand; his wife broke both arms in her forearm.  Then last week he was badly beaten up when he tried collecting garbage for the first time since his injury.  We are not sure why so much misery has come to them. 

• Please pray for wisdom in caring for this family.

• Please pray for all the new believers, that they will grow and be baptized.  Baptism for many here is seen as a much stronger step of commitment than prayer to receive Christ.
