2 courses of the cross-cultural training course 'Perspectives' are planned to be held in Yangon. This is a much needed programme, with over 150 different ethnic groups in Myanmar. The course uses a multi-media approach, with lectures, video and interactive role play. At present, all the materials are in English, with a 160 page handbook given to each participant as resource material when they become trainers themselves.

Imagine the joy to receive a beautiful, hand-written Burmese translation of the handbook, lovingly written in a large ledger diary, a costly item in this country. Few people, except perhaps the typists who will transfer the translation onto the computer, will ever see this work, which represents great perseverance in hidden things for God.
