Bamar Quick Facts:
-Largest and culturally dominate ethnic  group of Myanmar
-31 Million People
-95% Buddhist
-Only 3,100 Christians out of the total  population, less than 0.01%

In April NN’s 45 year old husband went on an evangelistic trip to a hilly area in western Myanmar. Whilst there he caught a rare and complicated disease, and died 10 days later. NN was able to reach him in the morning of the day that he died, but by that time he was unconscious. Now she is left with four children and expecting a fifth.

Is there any bitterness, anger or despair? None - sadness remains, but she has a quiet dignity that her Lord will take care of her needs, in a country where there is no life insurance, social security or welfare handouts.

Praise:
-For the courage of so many who risk their lives to witness to Jesus in remote places.
-For the courage of NN.

Pray:
-For safety and harvest from the work of witness in these difficult areas. For the wives and children widowed and orphaned by those who have died for the faith
