We believe that prayer is of utmost importance to our work, our faith and our lives as it is essential in building our relationship with Christ and keeping us focused on building His Kingdom for His glory. We pray because apart from God’s mercy, love, grace and salvation, we are unworthy of all that we do and all that we are.

Prayer is our first value because we truly believe in the power and purpose of prayer and we know that in all things, we want to bring glory to God. Brian Chapell, when talking about prayer in his book Praying Backwards, said, “We seek to have all our prayers and all that is in them honor the name of our infinitely wise, powerful and loving Savior, knowing that when He is most honored, we are most blessed.” Brian’s words beautifully wrap up our desire and purpose in prayer.

I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
