360 families live in “Leaning Village”. About one third are Lao Phuan and about two thirds are Hmong. These two people groups have completely different languages and culture.
There is only one known Lao Phuan Christian in “Leaning Village” – and she is waiting for her husband to come to faith before she starts to openly meet with other believers in nearby villages.
However, “Leaning Village” has many Hmong families who are true believers. So whether the Lao Phuan of “Leaning Village” will admit it or not, they’re surrounded!
On Sunday, the Hmong Christians in their church were singing “There is a Fountain Filled with Blood” so heartily that it could be heard right across the village.
• Please pray that Hmong believers will cross the huge language, cultural and prejudice gap that separates them from the Lao Phuan – in order to share the Good News.
