Women and families
Recently a local organization has started to work with groups of women living in poor urban areas of Yangon. Many of these women are struggling to support families with husbands absent, or sometimes abusive or alcoholic. "How can we live correctly as a family?" is a recurrent question.

The group has been developing material to help women see their own value in God's eyes, and how that is central to family life. Many women suffer abuse from husbands, and have very little sense of self-worth.
