Our Vision
To see indigenous movements of reproducing churches among all Mekong peoples, obeying Jesus and His Great Commission.
Our Mission
“To teach you what we have learned so that you in turn can pass it on to others.”
-2 Timothy 2:2
Our goal is to help lay a foundation for a lifetime of missional living by empowering new workers for cross-cultural service and cultivating a lifestyle of mentoring and reproduction.
Our Focus Area
Beginning as a trickle in the Himalayas the Mekong River grows in size and strength as it winds through Southeast Asia to the Vietnam Delta, where it spills into the South China Sea. The Mekong River region is home to more than 150 million people who come from dozens of ethnic people groups. Protestant believers have been reaching out to the peoples of the Mekong region for nearly 200 years, but the vast majority have not yet turned to God. The variety of ethnic languages and cultures creates a beautiful mosaic of diversity but also presents challenges in reaching the peoples of the Mekong region. Therefore, we make it our objective to reach these groups wherever needed in their own ethnic context and in their own heart language. We long and pray for the peoples of the Mekong region to come to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Would you join us?
Qualifications
The Mekong region needs people who are committed to:
- Loving the Lord with all their heart, soul and mind and loving the Unreached People Groups (UPGs) of the Mekong region as themselves.
- Sharing our vision with passion.
- Listening to God’s voice, walking with Him and responding urgently to the opportunities He provides.
- Communicating the Gospel through words and a lifestyle that models the reality of Christ in their lives.
- Being teachable, flexible and humble as they learn a new language and culture and make necessary life, family and relationship adjustments.
The Internship Program is for committed believers of many ages and in various stages of life: new college/university graduates, professionals, retired or semi-retired people, singles, couples, families.
