Monks and Lamas
In the fabric of Tibetan life, monks and lamas (teachers) are esteemed.  Especially in rural areas, they are among the most educated, cultured, and privileged of society.  Certain high lamas are even treated as royalty.  Their influence is significant on every level within a community – religious, social, education, and even political.

Pray:
• These influential members of society would be sobered by the weight of their responsibility and come to realize they have no answers – no relevant truth – to address the ache in every human heart that is separated from the living God.
• As God’s word goes forth particularly among monastery communities that the light of Truth would purge the lies in dark hearts and “give [them] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” (2Cor.4:6)
• For a young monk by the name of R.C.  He has a burning curiosity to learn all he can about Christianity and is about to begin studying with some believers.  Pray the Spirit of Jesus would usher the fragrance of Eternal Life into this man’s heart!  Pray for his conversion.
