Growth of Kham believers
Two
Kham girls have trusted in
Jesus in the last year. One girl lives in a remote area,
while the other one lives in a more populated area. Neither
of the girls have family members or friends that are
believers. In the last 6 months some Christian workers
have been able to spend quality time with them encouraging
them in their faith and also giving them tools to help them
grow. One of the girls received a Bible for the first
time! She told her friends several times that “before she
felt so hungry, but now she feels very full!” Praise God!
Pray:
- One of the girls is in a relationship with a
non-believer. She says he is open to the gospel, and
therefore thinks its okay to stay together. Pray that
her boyfriend will also put his trust in Jesus and be
delivered from death.
- Both of these girls have been taught that the next step
after believing in Jesus is to share their faith with
others. Pray they will have boldness to share the
source of their joy and peace with friends and family.
- Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would “teach
you all things and will remind you of everything I have
said to you.”
Pray Kham believers such as
these two girls would learn to rely on their
relationship with the Holy Spirit.
- For Chinese Church evangelists and foreign Christian
workers that they would have wisdom and insight in how
to disciple and encourage Kham believers in a way that is relevant to their culture and
setting.
